Have you observed the new PokerPro hold’em poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about 2 weeks ago when I took a brief holiday with my wife to the WinStar Gambling establishment in Oklahoma.
As I anxiously waited for my turn to be summoned at the live tables, I watched how the other persons around the PokerPro tables interacted with each other. It was quite intriguing to say the least. Because the poker table was controlled by a computer, there had been no clay poker chips to do any chip tricks, no cards to shuffle and the actual live experience was stagnant. Maybe I was the only one that recognized this, but I did observe the gamblers on the table had a lifeless quality to them. The reason for this may be because there was no human discussion with the dealer, the environment was rather boring and the gamblers looked weary. It was nearly as if I was seeing a live variation of a web based holdem poker room rather than sitting with hot blooded humans. It was a little bit creepy and I continued to have flash backs to a show of Star trek and the holodeck malfunctioned.
Since the waiting time for the stay tables for more than an hour, I decided to see how the game action was and to encounter this new texas holdem poker gaming technologies. Right after betting a couple of hands, I genuinely felt like I was wagering at residence. The lack of activity in the table was the primary reason. I prefer to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those items are possible at these electronic tables.
Another thing I noticed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a good deal of hands at the PokerPro table and discovered that the bet on was a great deal like a web-based holdem poker site. That could have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to become very odd.
Following playing a few rounds with this "unique hold em poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables were not for me. I’m much better off wagering holdem poker on the web at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling house were to receive rid of the live poker tables, I think they would loose a good deal of players.
